A 57-year-old St. Joseph man is accused of molesting a child under the age of 12.

Frank Hawkins Sr. is charged in Buchanan County with a felony of second-degree child molestation.

According to court documents, Hawkins had the child in his care when the incidents took place.

Hawkins is being held on $25,000 cash only bail. He was due in court Tuesday morning for an arraignment.
