The St. Joseph Police Department is continuing to investigate after a man was shot in the leg over the weekend.

Capt. Jeff Wilson said officers responded shortly before 7:15 p.m. Sunday to a home in 700 block of S. 18th Street. A 28-year-old man was found with a gunshot would to his leg. The man was taken by ambulance for treatment.

“At this point in the investigation information from the victim has been limited,” Wilson said. “We do not have any suspects in custody at this time.”
