A St. Joseph man was injured Monday afternoon in a crash just west of Faucett.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tommy Turner, 35 was driving a 2000 International Dump Truck around 4:22 p.m. northbound on Route CC. The patrol said the dump truck went off the east side of the road then returned and began to skid. It then went off the west side of the road, hit an embankment and came to rest on its wheels. Turner was transported by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of what was described as a moderate injury. He was not reported to be wearing a seat belt.
