Military display to be unveiled at Remington

A temporary military history display will be unveiled on Veterans Day at the Remington Nature Center.

According to a news release from the City of St. Joseph Parks, Recreation and Civic Facilities Department, the displays will be unveiled Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nature Center.

Over 200 military artifacts from 1918 to the present day will be on display. The City said, when viewed together, the artifacts show the progress and advancement, over time, of war’s weaponry and defense.

All active, reserve, and retired military as well as all police, fire, medical, and emergency personnel will be free of charge including one additional guest of their choice on Saturday, November 11 with a badge or ID.
