ST. CLAIR COUNTY — A Missouri man died in an accident just before 2a.m. Wednesday in St. Clair County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1989 Chevy 1500 driven by Curtis N. Buchanan, 53, Osceola, was northbound on Old Humansville Road just south of Highway WW. The vehicle traveled off the road and struck culvert.

Buchanan was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Sheldon Goodrich Funeral Home.

He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
