TANEY COUNTY — A Missouri man died in an accident just before 10:30p.m. Wednesday in Taney County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage driven by Michael D. Clark, 57, Blue Eye, was southbound on Ridgedale Road one mile north of Ridgedale. The vehicle traveled off the edge road, returned to the road and started to skid. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and hit trees head-on.

Clark was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
