St. Joseph Police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found Monday morning.

According to Capt. Jeff Wilson with the St. Joseph Police Department, shortly after 10 a.m. Monday, officers responded to the 200 block of West Nebraska Ave. in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found the body of a man inside the vehicle.

Capt. Wilson said detectives are conducting a death investigation and are considering it a suspicious death at this time.
