First Day of Spring: Temps in the 40s with slight chance of rain

Welcome to Spring. We’ll see some drizzle this morning with chilly temperatures only warming to the upper 40s. But more spring-like temperatures are expected Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures climb into the upper 50s and upper 60s respectively. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: A slight chance of rain after 9 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 47. North wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 32. North northwest wind 5 to 9 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 57. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming east southeast in the evening.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Southeast wind 7 to 9 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45.

Friday: A chance of showers after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 65. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40.

Sunday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Sunday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Monday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 54. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
