Polls are open in Buchanan County for the General Municipal Election.

On the ballot are two candidates for St. Joseph mayor, four candidates for two at-large city council seats and two candidates for each of the council districts 2-5. There are seven candidates on the ballot for three St. Joseph School District Board of Education seats. There’s also a proposition on the ballot regarding a city seat belt ordinance.

Polls close at 7 p.m. and coverage will begin shortly after on 680 KFEQ, QCountry 92.7 and KJO 105.5. Results will also be available on St. Joseph Post.
