EDMOND, Okla. – The Missouri Western men’s golf team leads the Central Oklahoma Broncho Stampede after shooting a 573 in the first two rounds Monday at the Rose Creek Golf Course. Tom Buffington is tied for the lead at 6-under-par 138.
Patrick McCarthy is tied for fourth after the first day and trails Buffington by four strokes at 2-under-par 142. Tied for 10th place is Kevin Kim with a 1-over-par 145. Lucas Horseman was 4-over-par 148 and ended the day tied for 18th. Cole Roberts rounded out the MWSU scorecard with a 155.
Missouri Western leads second-place Lindenwood by seven strokes. Buffington shares the lead with LWU’s Yente Van Doren. MWSU tees off in the final round Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
