Another warm early May day is expected today with highs in the low to mid 80s. This evening a cold front will approach the area with the chance for strong to isolated severe storms to develop ahead of it. Wind gusts 40-50 MPH will be possible with isolated gusts to 60 MPH as well as dime to nickel-sized hail with isolated quarter-sized hail. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:
