HOWARD COUNTY — One person died in an accident just before 6p.m. Monday in Howard County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Ford F250 driven by Skyler M. Head, 22, Higbe, was eastbound on Route O just west of Route BB. The pickup traveled off the right side of the road and the driver overcorrected. It traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.

EMS transported passengers Ronnetta M. Head, 51, and Isaiha T. Gibson, 17, both of Higbe, to University Hospital where she died.

A private vehicle transported the driver to University Hospital.

 Ronnetta Head was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
