BARRY COUNTY — One person died in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Tuesday in Barry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Dale C. Shepherd, 65, Golden, was westbound on MO. 86 one mile west of Golden. The pickup traveled off the road and hit several trees.

Shepherd was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Fohn Funeral Home. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
