ATCHISON COUNTY — A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 7a.m. Friday in Atchson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Dodge Ram driven by Daryl D. Meyer, 65, Atchison, was northbound on Kansas 7 two miles north of Atchinson.

The pickup traveled off the right side of roadway and struck an embankment.

Meyer was transported to the hospital in Atchison. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
