BROWN COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 3a.m. Sunday in Brown County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by Chenenia Delores Johnson, 30, Horton, was eastbound on 130th Street seven miles north and two miles east of Netawaka.

The vehicle left the roadway to the right on the south embankment and collided head-on with a tree in the driveway at 731 130th Street.

Johnson was transported to a hospital in Topeka. A passenger  Sheridan, Diaz Vincent Sheridan, 30, Tama, IA., was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
