BUCHANAN COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Saturday in Buchanan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Ford Escape driven by Robert A. Bye, 49, Olathe, was northbound on Interstate 29 one mile north of Dearborn. The driver fell asleep. The vehicle traveled off the east side of the roadway and overturned.

Northland Regional Ambulance transported to Mosaic Life Care. He was wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
