STONE COUNTY — A Missouri man died in an accident just after 8:30 Monday in Stone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Yamaha Drive 2 Golf Cart driven by William A. Hunt, 78, Branson West, was northbound on Silvercliff Way two miles southeast of Branson West.

The driver attempted to make a right turn and the golf cart overturned. Hunt was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Stumpf Funeral Home.

Authorities released no additional details.
