OREGON COUNTY — One person died in an accident just before 12:30a.m. Friday in Oregon County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by Marshall S. Williams, 29, Alton, was westbound on Route AA six miles east of Alton. The motorcycle hit a deer and the driver was ejected.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Clary Funeral Home. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
