CARROLL COUNTY — One person died in an accident just after 8p.m. Saturday in Carroll County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Toyota passenger vehicle driven by Brian Tebbenkamp, 37, Holden, was westbound on U.S. 24 just east of County Road 311.

The Toyota crested the hill and struck an unoccupied farm tractor and John M. Burns, 68, Brookfield, and an unoccupied Ford passenger vehicle.

The collision pushed the tractor into Brian Hale, 42, Carrollton.

Burns was transported to Carrollton County Hospital where he died.  Burns was treated at the scene.  Tebbenkamp was not injured.
