ATCHISON COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Tuesday in Atchinson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Chevy Avalanche driven by Wyatt Anthony Kramer, 15, Atchison, was eastbound on 274th Road four miles northeast of Effingham.

The driver lost control of the vehicle on the gravel. It entered the south ditch where it rolled multiple times.

A passenger Payton E. Wagner, 14, Atchison, was transported to the hospital in Atchison.

Kramer was not injured. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
