Breezy with temperatures near 32

Increasing winds and falling temperatures will bring wind chills into the single digits by this evening. Some additional light snow is also possible across northern Missouri today, which could combine with gusty winds to reduce visibility and create hazardous travel. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: A slight chance of snow showers after 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 32. Breezy, with a west wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 14. North northwest wind 13 to 18 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 35. Light south wind increasing to 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. South wind 6 to 9 mph.

Veterans Day: Partly sunny, with a high near 44. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 33.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 35.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 21.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 47.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 32.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.
