A man has been charged with felony assault after a shooting Sunday night injured one person.

According to the St. Joseph Police Department, the shooting occurred at 11 p.m. on Dec. 30th, in the 4000 block of East Ayrlawn Drive. Police say the shooting appeared to stem from a family dispute. One person was hit by a gunshot in the arm. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Cliff K. Lippwe, 41, of St. Joseph has been charged with third degree felony assault in relation to the shooting.

An arraignment is scheduled for Friday morning. Bond is set at $75,000.
