Ronald R. Holliday, Prosecuting Attorney for Buchanan County, announced that the Child Support Enforcement Division collected a record total of over $19.5 million in child support for 2018.

According to a press release from the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, that is an increase of $4.6 million from 2017.

In its most recent performance audit based on Federal/State guidelines, the Enforcement Division scored 100% in three out of six compliance requirements and scored 97% and higher on the remaining requirements.

The Buchanan County Prosecutor’s Office employs 15 team members in its Enforcement Division who handle approximately 6,700 cases.
