(UPDATE 12:52 p.m. Friday) – Crews working with BNSF Railway began work on the Andrew County Route T St. Joseph Sub railroad crossing Jan. 18.

Due to equipment issues the crews were unable to complete the work as scheduled and will return Jan. 22. They will close Route T from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

AMAZONIA, Mo. – Crews working with BNSF Railway plan to close Route T in Andrew County Friday, Jan. 18.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the road will be closed at the St. Joseph Sub crossing from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All scheduled roadwork is weather permitting and subject to change. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
