KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI – Ricky Bobby Lee Gillpatrick, 37, of Kansas City, Missouri died in a house fire on January 27, 2019. Ricky was born on January 21, 1982 in St. Louis City, St. Louis, Missouri. He worked as a cashier at Price Chopper.
Ricky Bobby Lee is survived by his mother, Janetta Gillpatrick, Grandparents, Bob, Sr. and Sandra Gillpatrick, Jean Medley Aunts; Kathy and Tom Trueblood, Kim Gillpatrick and Deb Bartholomew, Kristie Gillpatrick and Henri McDaniel Uncle, Bob, Jr. and Lisa Gillpatrick. Cousins; Ashlee and Joey Bradshaw, Shea Gillpatrick, Skylar Gillpatrick, Laci Gillpatrick, Jamiee Trueblood, Kurt Trueblood, J.C. Trueblood, Raelynn Trueblood, Zoey Gillpatrick, Pilar Bradshaw, Jr. Bradshaw, Gage and KayLynn, Shaconia Trueblood.

Visitation: prior to funeral from 11:30 – 1:00 at the church.
Burial: Bellemont Cemetery in Wathena, Kansas approximately at 3:30 P.M.

Larry D. Bruns
1941-2019
Larry D. Bruns, 77, of Whiting, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at his home.
He was born October 25, 1941 at Holton. His parents were William and Eva Williams Bruns. He graduated from Whiting High School and had served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Larry was a farmer and a stockman.
He married Marjorie “Pat” Zirger on September 27, 1967 at Holton. She preceded him in death on September 23, 2014.
Larry was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Bruns.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy McNeely (Don), Topeka; two sons, Kevin Robbins, Holton and Tracy Robbins (Terri), Circleville; a brother, Dick Bruns (Darlene), Holton, seven grandchildren, Cody Robbins, Kasie VanDonge (Adam), Jordan Robbins (Dylan), Sarah Robbins, Brittany Robbins, Kelcie Strecker (Trey) and Ryan McNeely and two great grandchildren Kynslee Strecker and Copelan Robbins.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1st at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Private inurnment will be later in the Holton Cemetery. Larry will lie in state after noon on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Albert “Al” W. Richardson
1930-2019
HOLTON – Albert “Al” W. Richardson, 88, of Holton, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Holton Community Hospital.
He was born September 9, 1930 at Oakley, the son of Alvin and Alice Bogart Richardson. He graduated from Oakley High School in 1948.
Al worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Topeka, retiring in September of 1992.
He was a member of the Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton.
He married Dorothy Doherty on September 24, 1950 at Colby. She preceded him in death on June 15, 2000.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and was the last of their surviving children.
Survivors include a son, Steven Richardson (Mary), Holton; three daughters, Karen McDonald (Chris), Frankfort, Linda Richardson, Glendale, AZ and Marvene DeVader (Henry), Hoyt; his girl friend, Mary May, Holton; nine grandchildren, Shawn, Denise, Charles, Clifton, Jessica, Jenny, Jandy, Kayle and Mason, twenty-six great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
A visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, February 1st at the Evangel United Methodist Church Family Life Center. Inurnment will be later in the Holton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Jackson County Senior Citizens Center, and may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, PO Box 1034, Holton, KS 66436.
Frances Louise Roberts
1928-2019
Frances Louise Roberts 90, of Kansas City, Missouri formerly of St. Joseph, MO passed away Wednesday January 30, 2019 in a Kansas City health care center. She was born August 20, 1928 in St. Joseph, Missouri daughter of the late Alma & Oran Burkart. She retired from Whittaker Cable in 1986. She was a former member of the Hyde Valley United Methodist Church. Frances was preceded in death by her parent, husband, Frederick A. Roberts, 4 brothers & 3 sisters. She is survived by daughter, Candace Roberts, Kansas City, MO, granddaughters, Carlee Turner, and Breanne Turner, grandson, Sean Shepherd. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Saturday, with funeral services, starting at 11:00 am Saturday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Keith Arthur Blake 68, of St. Joseph, MO. passed away Tuesday January 29, 2019 at the Northcare Hospice House, Kansas City, MO. He was born May 14, 1950 in Shenandoah, Iowa. He worked at ACDO. Keith was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Blake, mother, Freda Sill, and 1st wife, Cari Marianne Blake. Survivors include: daughters, Delta (Rex) Griggs, Saint Joseph, MO, and Cari (Preston) Duncan of Logan, UT., son, Jon “Gary” Blake, brother, Russell Blake, and sisters, Sherry Blake and Gayle (Jeff) Mahin, 10 grandchildren, Jared, Cierra, Chasity, Joey, Tierra, Jordan, Cory, Jon, Aaron and Brandon, and 12 great grandchildren.
