GENTRY COUNTY— One person was injured in an accident just before 8p.m. Sunday in Gentry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Chevy Impala driven by Brent K. Jestes, 51, Maysville, was westbound on Route Z one mile east of Berlin.

The vehicle crossed the centerline, began to skid, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Grand River EMS transported Jestes to Mosaic Life Care. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
