ANDREW COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 1a.m. Tuesday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chevy 3500 driven by Baden Radu, 27, Frisco, TX., was southbound on Interstate 29 six miles north of St. Joseph. The driver lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered road. The truck traveled off the road and struck a northbound 2005 Ford Mustang driven by Breann H. Ramage, 17, Reuter, that had traveled off the road due to the ice.

Andrew County EMS transported Ramage to Mosaic Life Care. Radu was not injured. Ramage was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
