CLINTON COUNTY — Three people were injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Friday in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Flex driven by Elsa L. Morris, 37, Chillicothe, was southbound on Interstate 35 two miles north of Holt.

The vehicle approached stopped traffic, swerved to miss another vehicle, traveled off the road and struck an embankment.

Passengers in the vehicle Michael Harboard, 40; Rachel Morris, 9, and Teriseta Morris, 5, all of Chillicothe, were transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Elsa Morris was not injured.

All four were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
