CLINTON COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after midnight Saturday in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chevy Equinox driven by Ashley D. Pickering, 36, Grant City, was southbound on Interstate 35 two miles south of Cameron.

The driver lost control of the vehicle when it slid on the ice. The vehicle traveled off the road and overturned.

Tri-County EMS transported Pickering to Cameron Regional. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
