DAVIESS COUNTY, MO — A Kansas man was arrested following a two vehicle crash just after 6:30p.m. Wednesday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Silverado driven by Edgar D. Jamie, 32, McPherson, was northbound on Interstate 35 four miles north of Winston.

The Chevy rear-ended a 2015 Ford Fusion driven by Danny W. Engle, 44, Gallatin, Missouri, and left the scene.

Engle and a passenger Katherine E. Engle, 34, Gallatin, Missouri, were transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

The MSHP with the assistance of Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies located the Silverado and arrested Jamie on requested charges that included DWI, physical injury, leaving the scene of an accident, careless and imprudent driving, no license and littering.
