NW Missouri teen hospitalized after jeep goes airborne, overturns

DAVIESS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Friday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Jeep Cherokee driven by Caitlin Ramsey, 19, Cameron, was eastbound on Mo. 6 just west of Jamesport. The vehicle crossed the centerline, traveled off the north side of the road, went airborne, struck an embankment and a tree and overturned.

Grundy County Ambulance transported Ramsey to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
