BROWN COUNTY — Three people were injured in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Friday in Brown County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Honda CRV driven by Loretta Taylor, 58, Omaha, was entering U.S.36 eastbound from Kestrel.

The driver failed to yield to traffic. The Honea was struck by a westbound 2009 Kia Spectra driven by Biggerstaff, Erin Biggerstaff, 32, Arnold, Missouri.

Taylor, Biggerstaff and a passenger in the Honda Mary Taylor, 17, Omaha, were transported to the hospital in Hiawatha. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
