ANDREW COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Sunday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Britney D. Churchfill, 28, St. Joseph, was westbound on Route A just east of CR 40 four miles east of Filmore.

The vehicle struck a deer. A passenger in the vehicle Mariah F. Mayes, 15, St. Joseph, was transported to Mosaic Life Care. Churchfill and Mayes were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
