ANDREW COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Wednesday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus driven by Kenneth V. Schmille, 72, Amazonia, was southbound on Route K two miles south of Amazonia. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road and struck an embankment.

Andrew County ambulance transported Schmille to Mosaic Life Care. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
