Rising flood waters along the Missouri River prompted officials with the Remington Nature Center to close, beginning today.

Officials say the nature center will reopen when floodwaters recede.

Also, Heritage Park is closed, also due to rising floodwaters.  All adult recreation league games scheduled for today at Heritage are cancelled.

Future games will be moved to alternate locations. Recreation staff will contact the recreation teams once the alternate locations have been finalized.
