HARRISON COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 8a.m. Monday in Harrison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Casey J. Thurman, 19, Bethany, was northbound on U.S. 69 two miles north of Bethany. The SUV traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The SUV traveled off the west side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

A private vehicle transported Thurman to Harrison County Hospital. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
