The AFL-CIO Community Services “Christmas in July” fundraiser continues with a scavenger hunt this weekend. Register your team to find and photograph a list of things across St Joseph based on a series of clues.

Teams of up to five will pay $15 per person to join the effort and all proceeds go to support the agency’s initiatives. If you bring a toy for the Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program you’ll get a chance to win $500, $100 or $50. Preregister at 364-1131 by 5pm Friday and save $5 for each player.

Otherwise, registration starts at 5 pm Saturday and the hunt begins at 6 pm sharp at Callison Hall, 1222 South 10th Street, St Joseph. You must have your own digital camera and transportation to participate.

Procees will support the agency’s Help Me Hotline, Adopt-A-Family Christmas, Soles for Christ Shoe Program, Cinderella’s Closet, Lions Club eyeglasses program and the Community Clothes Closet.
