GOWER- Three people were injured in an accident just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chevy Pickup driven by Roy J. Richie, 86, Dearborn, was eastbound on MO 116 four miles south of Gower. The pickup stopped at a stop sign and then pulled into the path of a northbound 2004 Honda Pilot driven by Cassie J Bond, 33, Smithville. The Honda struck the passenger side of the pickup.

Richie, Bond and an infant passenger in the Honda were transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center.

The MSHP reported Richie was not wearing a seat belt.
