KANSAS CITY- A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday in Johnson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Toyota 4-Runner driven by Jayme L. Moore, 22, Kansas City, was southbound on Interstate 35 in Merriam.
The driver side of the Toyota made contact with the passenger side of a 1997 Ford Econoline van driven by Jerry Wicks, 44, Princeton.
The Toyota veered to the right and the driver overcorrected to the left in the path of the Ford.
The Ford then struck the Toyota in the driver’s door and pushed it to the left shoulder. Both vehicles hit the barrier wall.
Moore was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Wicks was not injured.
