On Friday morning, Special Enforcement Officers of the Kansas Department of Corrections and United States Marshals apprehended escapee Ronny Dale Peters in the Gardner, Kansas area. Peters escaped from Lansing Correctional Facility’s Minimum Custody Unit on Wednesday, September 14th.

Officials say Peters’ escape is still under investigation and additional criminal charges against him are pending at this time.
