SAVANNAH- A St. Joseph man was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. on Tuesday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred as a 1985 Ford LTD driven by Casey W. Huffman, 17, Savannah, was southbound on Business 71 at CR 445 one mile south of Savannah.

The vehicle was slowing and stopping for a school bus with a stop arm displayed.

A 2007 Toyota Corolla driven by Christian M. Atlakson, 61, St. Joseph, was also slowing for the bus. The Toyota changed lanes into the path of a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Savannah M. Vulgamott, 18, Savannah. The Trailblazer struck the Toyota and pushed it into the Ford.

Atlakson was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center.
No other injuries were reported. The MSHP reported all drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
