
The hours to the end of the 2014 United Way campaign are ticking down but a fast food restaurant is helping the agency in the final push to meet its goal.
As part of Eat, Drink, Live UNITED the United Way of Greater St. Joseph will receive 10% of sales made Wednesday at any St. Joseph McDonald’s before 7 p.m.
The campaign kicked off Oct. 23 with a goal of $3,145,000.
During the last campaign update only around 46% of that goal had been pledged, leaving another $1,686,394 for volunteers to raise before Nov. 6.
The final Campaign results will be announced Thursday at a Victory Dinner, held in Missouri Western’s Fulkerson Center. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
