BURLINGTON JUNCTION- A teenage driver was injured in an accident just before 1 p.m. on Monday in Nodaway County,

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Buick Lacrosse driven by Marilyn A. Grace, 85, Burlington Junction, was westbound on Park Street at Oak Street in Burlington Junction.

The driver failed to yield and the vehicle collided with a 2006 Chevy Uplander driven by Chayann E. Herzberg, 15, Burlington Junction.

Herzberg was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Maryville.
The MSHP reported both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
