New deer restrictions, 680KFEQ’s Barry Birr Reports (Video)

New limits will be in place when Missouri’s firearms deer season kicks off Saturday. Hunters will be able to take only one antlerless deer in most counties. That limit does not apply in urban areas and part of north Missouri near where chronic wasting disease has been found in a few animals.  680 KFEQ’s Barry Birr reports….

During the firearms season hunters are not allowed to use bait, dogs, fully automatic weapons, night vision equipment, electronically-activated calls, or any sighting device that casts a beam of light on the deer. The firearms deer season opens November 15 and closes on the 25th.
