Lottery transfers more millions to Mo. public schools

LotteryThe Missouri Lottery reported in a media release that on Friday they  sent $22.2 million in profits to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education.

The November transfer of $22,232,310 is based on Lottery tickets sales in October, and it brings the total for fiscal year 2015 to $104 million.

Since Missouri Lottery sales started in 1986, the Lottery has generated more than $4.9 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY15 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri.
