Another house fire in St. Joseph Thursday causes major structure damages to a home located in the 2800 block of Felix St.
Alec Wall said he was at work when he learned that his house was on fire.
“I was at work and then I got a phone call from my roommate saying that the house was on fire and that it was pretty bad,” said Wall.
Smoke was blowing from the roof of the house when firefighters arrived.
Wall lived in the home at 2802 Felix street with two other people. No one was injured during the fire.
The St. Joseph Fire Department said the cause of the fire was due to old wiring and estimates a loss of up to $10,000.
Wall said his roommate has found them another place to stay for now but is worried about how much of his stuff was lost.
Traffic was redirected on Noyes Blvd for around five minutes for firefighters to arrive on scene.
