A ribbon cutting was held Thursday afternoon to mark the grand re-opening of Missouri Western State University’s Career Development Center.

The Career Development Center now provides students, employers and guests access to fully technologically equipped workstations, an employer workspace, an interview room and a meeting space. It expanded its personnel and developed additional programs to promote MWSU students’ career readiness and skill building for workforce preparation.

During the past year it added a variety of additional services such as: personalized career exploration and coaching sessions, resume critiques, portfolio profile development programs, job searching strategy seminars for the global market and civic engagement opportunities.
