SPRINGFIELD- A Missouri man died in an accident just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday in Greene County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Ford Ranger driven by Christopher L. Clift, 38, Humansville, was traveling on Mo. 13 two miles north of Springfield.

The vehicle ran off the road, overturned and ejected the driver.

Clift was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to the Greene County Medical examiner’s office.

The accident remains under investigation.
