The Northwest Missouri State University men’s and women’s tennis teams each picked up victories on Saturday against Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., at the Lindenwood Tennis Complex.
The No. 19 ranked Bearcat men’s team beat the Lions, 6-3. Northwest is now 14-6 overall and 4-0 in MIAA action, while Lindenwood falls to 5-12 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
The Northwest women’s team moved to 15-6 overall and 7-2 in MIAA action with a 7-2 victory over Lindenwood. The Lions are now 5-14 overall and 2-7 in conference play.

Both men’s and women’s teams will head to Emporia State on Tuesday, April 21, to play the Hornets starting at 6 p.m. The men’s team can claim an outright MIAA title with a win over Emporia State. Northwest has won 11 MIAA regular season titles under Rosewell.
