The Doniphan County Sheriffs Office confirms that a missing woman has been found safe and sound.

Authorities from Denton, Bendena and Severance were dispatched to the town of Doniphan, Kan. to help look for the woman in her 60s who had been reported missing.  They searched a wooded area where the woman apparently got lost.

Officials say she made it to a residence where she was able to call relatives.
